Volunteer For VBS
We cannot provide this awesome experience without the support of over 100 Volunteers. Please take a moment to look at our various jobs, then fill out our volunteer form.
Volunteer Requirements

Volunteers report at 8am and leave after the students have been picked up.

Volunteers must be High School age or older to lead a group. 6th-8th grade students may serve as Assistant Crew Leaders.

Volunteers must attend a VBS training event.

Volunteers must sign up using the online form Below.

Volunteers are expected to come to VBS with a positive attitude, energy, and enthusiasm.

Volunteers are expected to focus on the children.

Volunteers are expected to refrain from using cell phones and other electronics during VBS and to not post photos of VBS children on personal social media pages.

Volunteers are expected to dress in a manner that is modest and mature.

Volunteers are expected to teach children to lead by being a leader and setting an example.

Volunteers are expected to remember that play has an appropriate time and use discernment to know the right time.

Volunteers are expected to become familiar with the theme for the week and the job to which they are assigned.

Volunteers are expected to comply with all policies and procedures of the church and requests of VBS leaders.

Available Jobs
All Purpose Assistant
This person is willing to be a runner, mover, shaker, assistant, etc. but doesn't work with crews/kids. They can be given tasks such as moving chairs, re-hanging decorations, running errands off campus (if they have a car/license), etc.
AV & Sound Booth
This tech-wizard is responsible for creating and running the slides during the opening and closing each day. They work closely with the on-stage leaders to convert the message of VBS.

Bible Discovery Leader
These organized storytellers brings the Bible to life for groups of kids through interactive and engaging experiences, then helps kids apply the word of God to their own lives.

Crew Leader
The crew leader will lead a small group of kids. There’s no preparation required. A good crew leader is a friend and helper for the kids and station leaders. They ask questions, take kids seriously and encourage them throughout VBS.
Assistant Crew Leader (6th-8th Grade)
This person assists the crew leader in leading a small group of elementary age kids. There’s no preparation required. A good crew leader is a friend and helper for the kids and station leaders. They ask questions, take kids seriously and encourage them throughout VBS.

Games Leader
The energetic and organized individual is in charge of leading groups of elementary age kids in fun physical activities and discussions. You don’t need to be an Olympian, you just need to be organized, energetic, and fun loving.
Imagination Station Leader
The Imagination Station leader encourages creativity and brings the Bible point to life through interactive and impactful illustrations for groups of elementary age kids. Organization, imagination, and creativity are a must for this fun loving leader.

Sticky Scripture Leader
This master of discussion shares Bible-point-reinforcing video resources with groups of elementary age kids before leading them in discussion on how they can apply the point to their own lives

Snacks
This organized individual is in charge of preparing materials and guiding kids through the process of preparing and serving a snack.
VBS Photographer
This multimedia master memorializes our VBS experience by taking pictures of the entire event!
Welcome Crew
This chief smiler helps direct our families from the parking lots to registration in the morning and guides parents towards pick up in the afternoon.
Volunteer Break Room
This person is responsible for providing snacks and a relaxing environment for VBS volunteers during their well-deserved break time.

This Person helps organize and deploy volunteers before and during VBS.
